April 21, 2020 by Coach Kaitlin Leave a Comment

3 EXERCISE ROUTINES TO DO AT HOME UNDER 30 MINUTES.  THESE 3 ROUTINES ARE PERFECT FOR BUSY MOMS, OR PARENTS, TO GET IN A SWEAT RIGHT AT HOME.

BENefits of working out at home:

  1. AFFORDABLE: When you workout from home there is no gym fee! You can do any type of home exercises on your own or subscribe to an online gym. Those are about half or less than half the cost of an in person gym.
  2. CONVENIENT: Home exercise routines at home are really helpful if you have young children! It can be really hard to make it out of the house; let alone tacking on the extra time it may take you to to get to the gym. Home workouts reduce travel time & save you money on gas.
  3. EFFECTIVE: You can get a very effective, cardio burning, body-weight pumping workout in at home. You don’t always need gym equipment to feel this way!

Abs and arm workout

All you need for this workout is some very light weights; full water bottles, canned food items or some heavy shoes would also suffice. If you are not sure how to connect to your deep core be sure to read up on that for maximum results.

Do each move for 40 seconds or 8-10 reps on each side.

Full body workout

For this workout you will be utilizing your own body weight. You can add resistance bands for an extra leg burn at any point in these workouts. These are great for added resistance & help your bum bum shape a bit more.

Do 10 reps or 30 seconds of each move

Core & hiit workout

This workout is core focused with HIIT intervals. The intervals are 30 seconds on with a 10-15 second break in between. This is low impact full body movements; however advanced progressions are shown for those who really want to uplevel.

In conclusion:

Home exercise routines are affordable, convenient, and effective. All these workouts are safe for pregnancy & postpartum mothers. However; they are great for everyone because of the core engagement you use in each move.
