THE PERFECT MOMMY MAKEUP KIT
When my daughter was about three or four months old, I remember being on the couch and she was asleep on my chest. We were watching our usual on Netflix- Gilmore Girls of course!
I remember looking down at her sweet little face that I loved so much and thinking two things. The first being, “wow, I have been on this couch for like four months acting as a pillow for this beautiful baby” and the second thought being, “If I could get this kid to nap in her own bed, I could do more things to make me feel like a human again!” Can you relate?

Of course I had housework to do and lunches to eat in peace, but I also wanted to get back into a makeup routine because the process of putting makeup on is very therapeutic to me, but also because a lil’ makeup makes me feel so much more polished and put together.
I had pieced together a small collection of clean makeup products that I could apply in just a few minutes. This collection included a CC cream, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. This worked out really well for me because it gave me what I wanted without taking too long to apply.

Let’s do a quick overview of each product:
Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation or Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer:
For your face product you can choose between a foundation or a tinted moisturizer. The Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation is a light to medium coverage foundation that is buildable and gives your skin the moisture it needs so that you don’t get that “cakey” look that makeup can sometimes give us. The Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer is a barely there coverage that just evens out your skin tone and provides SPF 20 sun protection.
I can’t say enough about this product! The concealer pen provides great coverage for blemishes or under eye circles, and can also be used to highlight your face and use dimension. Choose a lighter color to highlight under your eyes, your cupid’s bow, your chin, and any of the other high points of your face, or choose a color that matches your skin to simply cover blemishes and other imperfections. The concealer comes in a pen and there is a brush on one side and a button on the other. Simply push the button, and apply the concealer with the brush end. This literally can be done with one hand!
Powder blush:
This creamy powder blush is easy to blend and gives you that fresh and well rested look we all want!
Eyebrow Pencil or Eyebrow Gel:
For your eyebrows you get to choose from two products; your typical brow pencil or an eyebrow gel. The eyebrow gel is my go-to because it just takes a few strokes of this product, using the mascara type wand it comes with, to give you a polished brow.
Lengthening or Volumizing Mascara:
You have two choices for your mascara as well. You can choose the lengthening mascara if you just want to add a little bit of drama to your lashes, or you can choose the volumizing mascara if you really want to build your lashes up and get the most amount of drama possible.
Lip gloss:
The lip gloss included in the set comes in several different shades and it has a natural vanilla smell to it. You can choose a more neutral color for everyday wear, or you could choose a more bold color to give you a quick pop of color.
